Snow Farms Kiwi Dip ‘N’ Spread
Did you know that Kiwi’s can grow in BC? Neither did we until we found Snow Farms Kiwi Dip ‘N’ Spread at our local Donald’s Market.
Kiwi’s originate from China and over 50 percent of the world’s supply still comes from there, as well as New Zealand and Italy. BC isn’t in the running for becoming a major supplier, but our boutique kiwi industry supplies enough for some nice kiwi spreads.
The original Kiwi Dip ‘N’ Spread is very delicate in flavour and fairly high in sweetness. It’s a nice addition to a strong cheese or spicy chip. The Kiwi Dip with jalapeno is still delicate, but the jalapeno adds a touch of low burning spice that makes it hearty enough to add a little fruit and spice to something heavier like chicken or shrimp.
At under $5 per jar, this kiwi dip is worth a try.
