Need work? Check out this job portal created by the BC Ministry of Agriculture

Beets being washed.

The Ministry of Agriculture launched a portal way back in May for those looking for jobs in agriculture, aquaculture and food and beverage processing. They say there are around 600 jobs available, and from the conversations that we’ve had with people in these industries, they need the help.

We took a quick spin through the portal and found that a lot of the jobs start at $14.60 per hour and top out around $22’ish – unless you are a supervisor or work in administration. Check it out if you are looking for a job, or if you want to gain some insight into our food and beverage labour force.
